Our postcode is PH49 4HX, however this covers a wide area and will not necessarily bring you to our door. Please input ‘Heart of Glencoe Holidays’ into Google maps, or follow the directions below.
By Car/Bike
From Crianlarich and the south, come through Glencoe on the A82 and take a right turn signposted “Glencoe Village” and “The Clachaig Inn”. You will now be on an old singletrack road with passing places – continue on this past the Clachaig Inn and for a further mile – we are on the left.
From Fort William and the north, on the A82, take the left turn signposted “Kinlochleven and Glencoe”, then take the immediate right into Glencoe Village. Continue through the village and over the hump-backed bridge across the river for another mile along a single track road, we are on the right.
We have space to store your bike in our drying room.
Public Transport
Bus Services
The nearest Citylink bus stop is Glencoe Crossroads. (Although the National Trust Visitor’s Centre looks closer on the map, there is a big river between us and them.) The local Fort William/Kinlochleven bus drops off at Glencoe Junction. From either stop, walk into Glencoe Village – there is a small carpark with toilets, and houses on each side of the road. You will exit the village over a hump-backed bridge across the river – we are a mile further along the road.
If you end up with a big body of water next to you instead of a road with houses on both sides, you’ve gone the wrong way!
For safer walking, there is small path next to the road called the Glencoe Orbital – after you cross over the bridge, turn left sign posted Glencoe Lochan, and the turn right on to the path after about 20 metres. The path criss-crosses the road until you get to you.
Local Taxi Services
There are only a few local taxis (no Uber) and you MUST call well in advance (a few days) to see if they are available and prebook.
